About

Jaye Lamond is an artist working in Boorloo/Perth, located on Whadjuk Noongar Country, Western Australia. Born and raised in Perth, Jaye's work explores the natural beauty of Australia, particularly the West Australian landscape, flora and fauna.

Jayes creations are informed by a deep connection to the outdoors, her work is often inspired by a particular moment or memory, capturing a feeling or place that has stayed with her.

Working mainly in acrylic and oil pastels she translates memories into artworks, led by intuition and guided by colour to hold on to the quiet beauty of everyday life.

She regularly travels within Australia, exploring Country and drawing inspiration from the landscapes she encounters along the way.

A smiling young woman with brown hair in a chin length bob, wearing a brown sweater and light blue denim shorts, stands in a field of small white and yellow flowers with trees in the background under a partly cloudy sky.
